Privacy Policy

The short version

All apps developed by Pawan Dixit are designed with privacy as a core principle. None of our apps collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry of any kind.

Data collection

We collect absolutely nothing. Our apps do not use any analytics frameworks, tracking SDKs, or data collection tools. Your data stays on your devices and is never sent to us or anyone else for analytics or advertising. Where an app has to send something in order to work — Control reaching your Mac, for example — its section below says exactly what, and where.

Third-party services

Our apps do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Control

Control lets you see and use your Mac from your other devices, so some things have to travel. This is all of it:

Between your own devices. Your Mac’s screen and sound, your typing, and anything you send to the Mac go only between your devices, encrypted end to end. We can’t see any of it.

Control’s relay servers. When your devices can’t connect to each other directly, servers we run forward the encrypted connection. They see the internet addresses involved and how much data passes, but can’t read it, and they log none of it — they keep only hourly totals of the traffic they carry.

Forward Notifications, only if you turn it on, on the Mac. Your Mac’s notifications are sealed with a key your devices agree on when you pair them, then pass through a small service we run on Cloudflare to Apple’s push service, which delivers them to your iPhone or iPad. That service sees your device’s push token and the time, but can’t read the notification. It logs neither; to limit abuse it keeps only a one-way hash of the token.

Report a Problem. Only when you choose it, Control prepares an email to us with recent logs attached — device and Mac names and connection details, nothing from your screen. Nothing is sent until you send that email.

Updates. Control for Mac checks pawandixit.com once a day for a new version, sending only the version it is running.

Your Mac’s password. If you use Unlock with Face ID, the password stays in your device’s Keychain — not in iCloud — and is typed only at your Mac’s lock screen.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Control has no accounts and includes no analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page. But our commitment to collecting zero data is unlikely to change.
